Welcome to The Minted Market! We are a community farmers market supporting locally grown and produced goods. The Minted Market was the vision of Dr. Jilynn Hess. After coming home from her studies, she missed the large urban farmers markets where she could buy local, healthy products straight from the producers. She wanted to bring the convenience and health benefits to our community, and the idea of the Minted Market was born. With the help of friends and family, the market opened June 27, 2015 and was well received by the community and vendors alike. Vendors frequently sold out throughout the season, showing that the demand for local goods was present and strong. Many long time residents have expressed the wonderful feeling of “community” at the market, seeing old friends and neighbors, and as a place to socialize. Dr.J has also seen the benefits in her own patients, many of whom have been inspired to eat local meats, organic produce, and generally be more aware of the quality and sources of their food. At the market you will find a variety of items, from local honey, homemade bread, goat milk soaps and products, maple syrup, organic produce, and farm raised pork products to name a few. The market also hosts local singers and musicians, and holds a Fall Festival in October that offers old fashioned entertainment for the whole family. With the support of the community we hope The Minted Market can continue to grow and inspire our community to eat healthier, support the local economy, and become a stronger community together.

Eat, shop, love local!
