We know that starting somewhere new can come with questions — and we want you to feel informed and at ease before you ever walk through our door. Below you'll find answers to some of the things we hear most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, don't hesitate to reach out.

We can do much more than helping a painful back! At our office, our doctors functionally examine each patient with a thorough assessment. The assessment may include gait and/or postural analysis, examination of directional preference, and movement screenings. Our treatments involve chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on healthy lifestyle habits.

Anyone can see a chiropractor! We are happy to work with anyone, any age, no matter the goal of the patient. We focus on musculoskeletal complaints, but also discuss nutritional and lifestyle matters.

Initial appointments are 30 minutes, but we ask patients to come 10-15min prior for paperwork. Follow-up visits are scheduled for 15 minutes.

This is purely individually-based and situation dependent. Dr. J’s goal is to resolve the complaint and have the patient function at their optimal level.

Absolutely! Research backs up the safety and effectiveness of chiropractic care in the pediatric population. Dr. J has been extensively trained in treating babies, infants and kiddos. We keep the twisting to a minimum & apply low forces to restrictions that we may find. You’ll mostly hear giggles during our pediatric adjustments!

Many pregnant women find that chiropractic adjustments improve the pregnancy experience and make delivery easier. Adjustments are adapted to accommodate the stage of pregnancy and the unique needs of each patient.

The noises you hear resembling popping sounds are your joints releasing tiny pockets of air. A chiropractic adjustment does not affect the bones of either side of a joint; it affects the connective tissue that holds the joint together.

Each patient’s care is unique and therefore customized to meet their specific condition and needs. Dr. J will modify adjustments based on your specific needs!
